Rand Paul to Request Criminal Referral for Dr. Fauci From DOJ

Following a tense exchange between Senator Rand Paul and Dr. Anthony Fauci, Paul appeared on Sean Hannity’s show to tell him that he’d be requesting a criminal referral.

Hannity asked “You kicked off your questioning of Dr. Fauci emphasizing federal law makes lying to Congress, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison. Is your belief based on the evidence Senator that he lied before Congress and broke the law?” to which Paul replied, “Yes, and I will be sending a letter to the department of justice asking for a criminal referral because he has lied to Congress.”

During the earlier exchange, Rand Paul accused Fauci of lying to Congress about the origins of COVID-19, and then things got heated from there.
