Addicted to Losing: Democrat Rep. Files Impeachment Articles Against Trump

After two impeachment attempts that led to acquittals, Democrats are giving it another shot with Republicans having an even greater majority in the Senate.
Trump was first impeached over a phone call with Ukraineâs Vladimir Zelensky for a supposed âquid pro quoâ that Zelensky himself denied, and a second time following January 6 a week before he exited office in an attempt to secure a conviction with some arguing it could prevent him from running for president again.
Never tired of losing, Michigan Democrat Rep. Shri Thanedar, who youâve likely never heard of before, is going for a third try so Democrats can officially strike out.
According to Fox News:
Shri Thanedar announced on Monday that he introduced seven articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump.
"Donald Trump has repeatedly demonstrated that he is unfit to serve as President and represents a clear and present danger to our nationâs constitution and our democracy," Thanedar said in a news release. The articles allege wrongdoing by Trump including "Obstruction of Justice and Abuse of Executive Power," "Usurpation of Appropriations Power," "Abuse of Trade Powers and International Aggression," "Violation of First Amendment Rights," "Creation of an Unlawful Office," "Bribery and Corruption," and "Tyrannical Overreach"
Earlier this month, Al Green (not the reverend) promised to present impeachment articles against Trump in the next 30 days, but hasnât done so already. He has another week to make good on his self-imposed deadline.
