The anti-billionaire candidate found at least one that he likes.

Following Zohran Mamdani’s expected victory in the New York City Mayor’s Race, Alexander Soros posted a photograph with him for the first time ever.

“So proud to be a New Yorker! The American dream continues!” wrote Alex, who has unconvincingly attempted to portray himself as a moderate version of his father in the past. “Congrats Mayor Zohran Mamdani!”

Mamdani had the backing of the Working Families Party (WFP), which is linked to the Soros empire.

Working Families Power (WFPower), the “direct action arm” of the party, received $6 million from the Soros machine. In addition, another $1 million from Alex’s Democracy PAC was funneled into the WFP in 2022.  The WFP is particularly notorious for being climate-obsessed, in addition to holding other far-left opinions even many Democrats in the 21st century won’t touch. WFP helps keep the Democratic Party “accountable” (in the eyes of progressives), making it adopt further and further left-wing positions to earn their backing.

Because New York has fusion voting, Mamdani was also the WFP’s nominee, and thus appeared twice on the ballot (this is common in New York elections - Trump appeared twice in the ballot in 2024 running as the Republican Party and Conservative Party of New York, for instance). The vote goes to the candidate regardless of which party line they take the vote from.

When Mamdani voted for himself, he did it on the WFP line.
