Awkward: Congressman Trying to Impeach Trump Can’t Name Any Areas in His District

Impeachment 3.0 is already off to such an embarrassing start that even some Democrats want it to go away. 

In late April, Michigan Democrat Rep. Shri Thanedar, who you’d likely never heard of before, announced that he’d be introducing articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump. Earlier that month, Rep. Al Green, who disrupted Trump’s joint address to Congress, promised to present impeachment articles within 30 days, but didn’t make good on the promise. 

His articles are so doomed that some Democrats will even likely vote to sink them - and are calling him a lunatic in private. 

Worst of all for Thanedar, this stunt has caused the public to pay attention to him for the first time ever, which has turned out to be a tremendous source of embarrassment for him. 

Recently, a reporter interviewed Thanedar and asked him to name prominent cities in the Congressional district he represents.

Things immediately got awkward as Thanedar couldn’t do even, diverting by saying “I’m not here to answer a quiz.”
