The Associated Press has just reported that 2020 presidential candidate Bernie Sanders “has had a heart procedure for a blocked artery” according to his campaign. “The Vermont senator is canceling events and appearances ‘until further notice.”
Details provided by the campaign indicate the 78-year-old experienced chest discomfort yesterday. After an evaluation, two stents were “successfully inserted” and the senator is “conversing and in good spirits.”
