California Under Investigation By Trump Admin - Newsom Gets Warning

The Donald Trump administration will be investigating California for violating parental rights on the trans issue after Governor Gavin Newsom has attempted to at least pretend to moderate his stance trassgender issues this year.
Specifically, the Trump admin is investigating California for a law Newsom signed last year that prevents schools from adopting policies that would require schools to notify parents if their kids wanted to change genders.
According to Breitbart:
Last July, Newsom signed the law after several conservative school districts enacted policies requiring schools to notify parents. The issue arose out of concern that schools were encouraging students to change their genders, and were hiding those transitions from parents, ostensibly because of studentsâ privacy rights.
On Thursday, the U.S. Department of Education announced that it was investigating California over the issue: The U.S. Department of Educationâs Student Privacy Policy Office (SPPO) launched an investigation into the California Department of Education (CDE) for alleged violations of the Family Educational Rights Privacy Act (FERPA). FERPA gives parents the right to access their childrenâs educational data. The California Department of Education has allegedly abdicated the responsibilities FERPA imposes due to a new California state law that prohibits school personnel from disclosing a childâs âgender identityâ to that childâs parent.
As part of his attempted rebrand, likely due to his desire to run for President in the future, Gavin Newsom came out against dudes in womenâs sports earlier this month during a podcast with Charlie Kirk, drawing ire from leftists
Preventing teachers from telling parents about their childrens' delusions about their gender is arguably more radical than trans âwomenâ in sports, and thus this will serve as the first test as to whether or not Newsom is serious, or just trying to say the right thing to appear moderate. Further attempting to moderate his stance will require 2025 Newsom to turn on 2024 Newsom.
