Comments from Chief/Senator Elizabeth Warren from 2013 are going viral as the current Democrat shutdown is just days away from being the longest in U.S. history.
In it, Warren says that threatening a shutdown is a "last resort for those who can't win their fights through elections" and "can't win their fights for the presidency."
She also acknowledges that "The least we can do — the bare minimum that we can do — would be to pass a continuing resolution to keep the doors open and the lights on," something Democrats refuse to do.
