CNN Defends Letitia James: Everyone Commits Mortgage Fraud!

Let he who has not committed mortgage fraud cast the first stone.

CNN rushed to New York AG Letitia James’ defense after she was indicted by a federal grand jury on federal charges of bank fraud and making false statements. 

Their case? That it wasn’t such a big deal that James allegedly broke the law - because everyone does! 

Such was the argument of Kasie Hunt, who apparently just herself admitted to mortgage fraud.  

Right before it was confirmed what the charges were regarding, Hunt said “We’re still getting the details, but if it’s related to this mortgage issue, I mean this is something that everyone in America, or many people at least, if you’re lucky enough to be able to buy a house in America, you deal with this, right? The federal government doesn’t go after all of these people for doing this.”

She questioned, “Does that play a role here? I mean, how often has there been a federal indictment for a bank fraud type of situation like the one we see here?”

Hunt had no such questions when it came to James targeting Trump over the non-existent crime of giving his own assessment of what his properties are both.
