CNN Host Says Nothing as Texas Democrat Encourages Violence Against Republicans

Democrats aren’t dialing back the rhetoric back one bit - and they aren’t even being called out on it in the mainstream media when doing it to the host’s faces. 

Current Texas State lawmaker Jolanda Jones promised to get violent with Republicans, citing her upbringing. 

“I’m from the hood, okay!? So when the bully comes like – if there are no rules you have to figure it out so Donald Trump has changed things,” Jones said to CNN’s Erin Burnett.

“And I think that’s why Democrats are losing black people. That’s why they’re losing poor people. Because with poor people, all they want is for us to fight, so if you hit me in my face, I’m not gonna punch you back in your face, I'm gonna go across your neck,” she continued. 

“You gotta hit hard enough where they won’t come back.”

Burnett, meanwhile, didn’t push back at all: 

Jones is running for Texas's 18th congressional district special election for the U.S. House of Representatives that takes place this November 4. The district is D+21. 

Jones went viral earlier this year when an attempted “gotcha” question of hers blew up in her face, leaving her speechless.
