The latest from CNN’s “data guy”  Harry Enten suggests that most Americans believe President Donald Trump is delivering on the promises he made during his 2024 campaign, contributing to the remarkable stability of his approval ratings.

Citing recent polling data, the Enter noted that 52 percent of Americans say Trump is doing what he promised, while 48 percent disagree. As he put it, voters “expected all of this from Donald Trump,” and the president has governed in ways consistent with his established reputation and campaign pledges.

That predictability has insulated Trump from the kind of approval swings that typically affect presidents during their first year in office.
