Cringe: James Comey Turns to Taylor Swift to Cope With Second Trump Admin

The last time disgraced former FBI head James Comey made headlines was for his social media posts to “86 47,” which led to him being questioned by the Secret Service. He later doubled down on the post and said he didn’t regret posting it, but did delete it.
This time, he’s making headlines for cringe.
Comey released a video yesterday where he praised singer Taylor Swift as a source of family inspiration and personal guidance while taking shots at Trump.
After accusing Trump of “humiliating” the U.S. for sharing a stage with Vladimir Putin, Comey turned to discussing his love for Taylor Swift, adding that he’s attended two of her concerts and helped relatives purchase tickets.
“I’m in a family’s Swiftie group chat. I know all her music and I listen to it in my headphones when I cut the grass,” Comey said before listing off his favorite songs.
“Taylor Swift has grown up with my family and provided us a soundtrack, really, as we've grown ourselves and learned and adapted and dealt with adversity and celebration.”
He said that Swift’s example continues to guide him as an adult, and has helped him deal with bullies.
