Dan Bongino Rips Gavin Newsom’s “BS” Remarks
California Gov. Gavin Newsom fired back at President Donald Trump for once again saying he’d send the National Guard into San Francisco.
The move is so needed that even Salesforce CEO Marc Beinoff, a liberal donor and long-time Trump critic that’s changed his tune, welcomed the move (though he was lately bullied into apologizing for saying that). “I fully support the president,” he told The New York Times. “I think he’s doing a great job.”
“We’re gonna go to San Francisco,” Trump said during a Fox News interview. “The difference [from Chicago] is, I think they want us in San Francisco.”
“Fact check: Nobody wants you here,” Newsom wrote on X. “You will ruin one of America’s greatest cities.
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino fired back, giving Newsom a reality check.
"We don't answer to the governor of California...really? Ask the 67-year-old woman living in a drug-ridden area of LA or San Francisco or what else."
"Who's had some guy slinging crack on the corner for 10 years now harassing her grandkids. You go ask her if she wants us and the FBI, the US Marshals and the DEA and all the operations of the federal government in there to clean up the city. Go ask her. Go find her. I promise."
"There's not a limited sample size of people...The people DO want us there."
Dan explained that while he was out in DC this past weekend he saw “ten to fifteen” National Guard members out, and in a half-hour saw “ten to fifteen” thank them for being there.

Newsom replied to Bongino's reponse above - and was quickly shut down.
