Ex-Congressman Bowman Blames Cancer on Racism During CNN Panel Discussion

Former Congressman Jamaal Bowman, who lost his primary last year in a blowout 58.6%-41.4% vote, is making headlines this week for reporting on some new developments in liberal biology.
The team that brought us āmen can become womenā is now out with a groundbreaking new discovery: that racism causes cancer.
Bowman, who is perhaps best known for being censured for pulling a fire alarm to delay a vote, told a CNN panel that the reason black people have higher rates of obesity, heart disease, cancer, and diabetes is ābecause of the stressā of āhaving to deal with being called the N-word directly or indirectly every day.ā
While going off on a tangent about āAmericaās original sin and its disease of hate and racism towards black and brown people,ā Bowman shouted, āYou canāt be calm about this! Iām a black man in America! The reason why heart diseaseā Listen to what Iām saying. The reason why heart disease and cancer and obesity and diabetes are bigger in the black community is because of the stress we carry from having to deal with being called the N-word directly or indirectly every day.ā
Heart disease, cancer, obesity, and diabetes are bigger problems in the black community today than they were under slavery and later Jim Crow, so itās doubtful that racism is playing much of a role here - something the entire medical community must have missed.
Bowman also relayed an anecdote about how a voter (who he made sure to mention was white) told him he was a POS - which in his mind is akin to someone trying to infect him simultaneously with heart disease, cancer, obesity, and diabetes.
Mysteriously, he somehow forgot to pull out his cell phone to record the interaction.
