Ex-Democrat Rep. Running for California Governor Absolutely Loses It Over Simple Question

Former California Representative turned gubernatorial candidate Katie Porter completely imploded her chances of being the state’s next governor in just minutes while speaking to CBS News correspondent Julie Watts.
One basic question caused Porter to mentally unwind; “What do you say to the 40 percent of California voters, who you’ll need in order to win, who voted for Trump?”
“How would I need them in order to win, ma’am?” Porter responded.
When asked whether she thinks she will win 100% of the 60% of people who didn’t vote for Trump in California, Porter responded “In a general election? Yes. If it is me versus a Republican, I think I will win the people who did not vote for Trump.”
Watts followed up by asking Porter what she thinks would happen if it was her against another Democrat, to which Porter, who apparently doesn’t understand hypotheticals, said, “I don’t intend that to be the case.”
After that she complained that she was being asked too many follow up questions, and that the reporter was being "unnecessarily argumentative.” “I don’t want to keep doing this. I’m gonna call it. Thank you.”
Watch and cringe - it only goes downhill from there:
The bookies had Porter as the favorite in the California's governor's race prior to this interview. You can see the exact moment the internet aired on the chart below:
Unsurprisingly, while in Congress, Porter's staff turnover rate of 65% was four times higher than the average Congresstional office. According to divorce records, Porter threw "toys, books, and objects" at her ex-husband while verbally abusing him, and at one point poured scalding-hot mashed potatoes on his head during a fight.
