Far-Left Congressman Celebrates After Surviving 9-Hour “Hunger and Thirst Strike”

Pushing his body to the extremes, far-left Democrat Rep. Greg Casar managed to survive for an entire nine hours without eating or drinking water, a feat regularly accomplished by millions in their sleep.

With a caption that reads like parody, Rep. Casar posted photos celebrating his strike, writing; “Yesterday was incredible. I was honored to be joined at my thirst strike by workers in Texas and across the nation—and by lots of colleagues pushing for federal heat safety protections. 9 hours without water or food, but I’m more energized than ever to get this done.”  Of note, most sources say the protest only lasted eight hours.

In the latest sign that we have a Theater Kid Occupied Government, Casar shared a dramatic photo of the moment his strike was coming to an end, where he's being cared for by what are presumably healthcare workers, with his pulse being taken.

Like AOC, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar (among others), Casar is part of the so-called “Squad,” which is known for regularly engaging in childish and cringe-inducing political stunts.

And as one would expect, Casar’s stunt was widely ridiculed.

We wish Rep. Casar the best of luck with any future endeavors in intermittent fasting.
