Florida AG Subpoenas Employer of Illegal Alien Trucker After Crash That Killed Three

Employers are finally being held accountable for their complicity in the illegal immigration crisis and its consequences. 

Earlier this week, Florida AG James Uthmeier announced that his office is issuing civil and criminal subpoenas to the employer of Harjinder Singh, a truck driver accused of causing a crash that left three people dead on the Florida Turnpike in Fort Pierce last month.

“We don’t just talk the talk,” Uthmeier said. “We’re gonna use every legal tool at our disposal to fight back and protect our citizens.”

“There’s no way he went through the proper training,” Uthmeier said, adding that sanctuary states “want to double down and protect criminals,” but Florida will continue to “fight the good fight.”

Uthmeier noted that Singh couldn’t speak English and was unable to read road signs.

Video of the horrifying crash went viral on social media, with many noting how completely unfazed Singh was by the incident. 

Singh obtained a commercial driver’s license  (CDL) in Washington in July 2023 despite not being legally allowed to, and was given a limited-term CDL in California in 2024.
