Homan Torches Politico Journo Over ICE Wearing Masks

After forcing them on the American public for years and calling you a “grandma killer” if you didn’t want to wear them, Democrats have turned on masks now that it’s immigration enforcement wearing them.
Why? Because they want to be able to identify ICE agents in an attempt to dox them and harass them and their families - and potentially even worse.
In response, Border Czar Tom Homan strongly defended the use of face masks by ICE agents during enforcement operations, pushing back against criticism from media figures and Democrat lawmakers amid a rise in violent incidents targeting agents.
Homan appeared on “The Conversation with Dasha Burns,” where he confronted questions surrounding the use of face coverings by federal immigration officers. The issue has gained renewed attention following the introduction of a bill by Democratic Senators Cory Booker of New Jersey and Alex Padilla of California. Their bill seeks to prohibit ICE and other immigration officials from wearing masks during most enforcement operations.
Burns suggested during the interview that “many people are up in arms” over ICE agents wearing masks, and that it was “not something that we’ve really had on this scale in this country.”
Homan immediately fired back and pointed out that violence against ICE agents is exploding.
“Well, we never had the scale of attacks on ICE we have now, up 700% attacks on ICE, doxing against ICE agents.”
Burns responded by arguing that local police officers did not begin wearing masks despite being targeted during the 2020 “defund the police” hysteria and George Floyd riots. (It sure seems like they should have!)
“Name a police agency that has a 700% increase in assaults,” Homan replied. “Name one. You can’t.”
“I haven’t looked at that data, yeah,” Burns acknowledged.
