We are apparently entering a golden month of Democrat politicians being flummoxed by simple questions - from Katie Porter imploding for being asked how she’d attract Trump voters to Kamala Harris being called out for her “world-class pivot,” we now have another making headlines to add to the list.

Just days ago, Illinois Democrat Congressional candidate Kat Abughazaleh was indicted for allegedly conspiring to impede a U.S. law enforcement office. Last month Abughazaleh took part in a protest outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Broadview, Illinois, and posted a video of herself blocking an ICE vehicle proudly to her social media.

The indictment alleges that she was part of a group that surrounded a government vehicle to “hinder and impede” a federal agent from “discharging the duties of his office.” The indictment added that they “banged aggressively” on the vehicle’s windows, “crowded together” in front and on the side of it and “pushed against the vehicle.” The indictment also says the group wrote “PIG” on the vehicle and broke the side mirror and rear windshield wiper.

She appeared for an interview after on Tara Palmeri’s show, but it quickly derailed when Abughazaleh walked out during the live broadcast.

“How are you feeling ever since you found out… what’s going on through your head?” Palmeri opened the interview.

Abughazaleh replied that it was surreal seeing her name on the indictment, said that she planned on pleading “not guilty,” and called it a “political prosecution plain and simple” and “an effort to criminalize free speech, an effort to criminalize free association, and an effort to criminalize the very act of protest.”

When asked specifics, Abughazaleh replied that she was “not speaking to the specifics of anything that’s in the indictment right now.”

Palmeri then cued up a video clip of the alleged crime in progress on the day of the incident, and asked her, “What do you when you see that?”

And to that, Abughazaleh left the interview.
