JD Vance Reveals First Thing Trump Told Him After Second Assassination Attempt

JD Vance revealed what Donald Trump told him minutes after the second attempt on his life while speaking at a Faith and Freedom Coalition event.  

“He says, ‘JD, you’re not going to believe this, but they tried to do it again,’” Vance said Trump said to him 10 minutes after the suspect was arrested. 

Vance says he was at home in Cincinnati when the phone rang and it was Trump on the other line. He said in response “No, you’re joshing me. But, what’s going on here, sir?” “I was playing golf and the Secret Service found somebody who was trying to shoot me,” Vance said Trump informed him. 

He then added, amusingly, that Trump said he was “fine” but “pissed off” he couldn’t finish his birdie putt; "I was playing golf and the Secret Service found somebody who was trying to shoot me. I'm a little mad because I was about to make a birdie putt on the 6th hole and they wouldn't let me finish."
