Jimmy Fallon Visibly Surprised as Some Audience Members Cheer Trump’s Return

Admittedly, this surprised me too.

The tide really is turning, and that became evident on Jimmy Fallon’s show this week (which people apparently still watch) following the inauguration of Donald Trump. 

Fallon was thrown off guard when part of his generally liberal audience cheered for Trump’s return. 

Fallon, had made a quip about the hat Melania wore to the inauguration; “After this, we’re going to play ‘who wore it better’: me, Melania, or the Hamburglar,” before confirming that Trump had indeed been sworn in as the 47th president of the United States.

While some of the boos and groans you'd expect were heard from the audience, another part of the audience could be heard cheering for Trump. 

“We’re all united, that’s great to know,” Fallon said, clearly caught off guard.
