Libs Are LOSING IT Over Gov. DeSantis Going Off on Mask Theater

Yesterday, as Russia positioned themselves to seize their first major Ukrainian city, American liberals were busy fighting another crisis; Florida Governor Ron DeSantis telling students they don’t have to wear masks if they don’t want to.
âYou do not have to wear those masks. I mean, please take them off. Honestly, itâs not doing anything. Weâve got to stop with this COVID theater. So if you wanna wear it, fine, but this is ridiculous,” he said to a group of seven students from Middleton High School. (Just so this article doesn’t get flagged by the “fact checkers” I’m required to pretend that DeSantis’ comments doubting the efficacy of masks are just his opinion and is contradicted by whatever “the science” is).

In response to DeSantis granting freedom of choice, the media and other hysterics decided to infantilize the high schoolers, half of which clearly didn’t want to wear the masks, as evidenced by them taking them off with smiles on their faces. DeSantis’ frustration with presumably the schools requiring them was presented as DeSantis being “angry at high schoolers.” In reality, he was advocating for them.

Meanwhile, among those siding with DeSantis was Hillsborough Schools’ superintendent (which includes Middleton High School), who stated “It is a student and parents’ choice to protect their health in a way they feel most appropriate. We are proud of the manner in which our students represented themselves.”

Desperate to further attempt to create a scandal out of nothing, the mother of one of the children who unmasked after DeSantis’ comments appeared on the local news unmasked to complain that her son wasn’t forced to wear a mask. When asked if he felt pressured to wear a mask, the student, who clearly wanted to answer “no” but didn’t want to anger his mother and hysterical liberals watching, said he “might” have been slightly influenced by DeSantis.
What does it say about American liberals when they can’t even discern reality when it’s played for them clearly in a video?
