Marco Rubio Dismantles “Stupid Media Narrative” on Face the Nation

Secretary of State Marco Rubio slammed the fake narrative being pushed on CBS’s Face the Nation, who claimed that President Donald Trump is pressuring Ukraine into an unfavorable peace agreement with Russia.

Host Margaret Brennan, who became known to millions for her blatant bias during the Vice Presidential debate, made this argument to Rubio, who quickly shut it down. 

“This is such a stupid media narrative that European leaders are coming here because Trump is going to bully Zelensky into a bad deal,” Rubio said. “We’ve been working with these people for weeks… We invited them to come.”

“They’re not coming here tomorrow to keep Zelensky from being bullied. They’re coming here tomorrow because we’ve been working with the Europeans. We talked to them last week. There were meetings in the U.K. over the following, the previous weekend.”
