McConnell Heckled With Calls to Retire During Speech

Mitch McConnell was met with endless heckling and calls to retire during a speech in Kentucky over the weekend.
McConnell was speaking at the 143rd Annual St. Jerome Fancy Farm picnic, which is one of the stateâs main political events.
âMy friends, Iâll be honest, itâs not hard for Republicans to look good these days,â McConnell began to say, as he was quickly drowned out by hecklers, whose chants included âshame on you,â âditch Mitch, âlost the Senate,â and âretire!â - among many others that went on for his entire speech.
