New Biden Video Has 9 Edits in 38 Seconds

The White House is out with a new Joe Biden video to assure us that he’s coherent - and has convinced everyone of the exact opposite in the process.

“Democracy is the essence of who we are” Biden opens the video. “We’re the most unique nation in the world,” he continued. “... In that we’re not based on race, ethnicity, geography. We’re based on an idea.”

He then elaborated on what that idea is: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all women and men are created equal.” 

“It’s in our Declaration of Independence.”

I’ve only quoted from the first thirteen seconds of the video, and between each individual quotation the video did a jump cut, meaning that someone had to stitch together the recording of Biden to make it look like it was him speaking coherently. Of course, if he was speaking coherently the whole time, it would’ve been filmed in one take.

In total, the video had 9 edits in 38 seconds, implying that  Biden is capable of speaking coherently (on average) 4.2 seconds at a time.
