President Trump Fires Back At James Comey Over “86 47” Post

James Comey ignited controversy yesterday after posting a photo on his Instagram account reading “8647” (86 meaning “get rid of” and 47 referring to Trump as the 47th president). 

This was followed by an uproar on social media, and among those who noticed included Homeland Security Director Kristi Noem, who said that the Secret Service is investigating “this threat and will respond appropriately.”

The FBI probably shouldn’t have any trouble finding him.

Elon Musk accused Comey of calling for President Trump’s assasination, and Trump himself reacted during a clip from an interview that will air later on Brett Baier’s show. 

Trump shrugged off an apology from Comey where he absurdly claimed that “I didn't realize some folks associate those numbers with violence. It never occurred to me,” with Trump firing back that “Comey knew exactly what that meant. A child knows what that means ... That meant assassination."

'I don't want to take a position on it, because that's going to be up to Pam and all of the great people,' Trump said. 

"But I will say this, I think it's a terrible thing. And when you add his history to that, if he had a plain history - he doesn't; he's a dirty cop; he's a dirty cop - and if he had a clean history, I could understand if there was a leniency. But I'm going to let them make that decision."
