President Trump Gets a Second Nomination for Nobel Peace Prize

On Wednesday, we reported on President Trump’s nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in mediating the historic Israel-UAE peace deal last month, otherwise known as the Abraham Accord, which will be signed at the White House next week.

Two days later, on Friday, President Trump was nominated again for a Nobel Peace Prize, this one for overseeing a historic peace deal between Serbia and Kosovo.

Magnus Jacobsson, a member of the Swedish Parliament, announced Friday morning that he was nominating the Trump administration, Serbia and Kosovo for their “joint work for peace and economic development, through the cooperation agreement signed in the White House, Trade and communications are important building blocks for peace.”

The nominations are both truly well-deserved, as both peace deals are tremendous diplomatic achievements.
