Round 2: Adam Carolla Destroys Gavin Newsom Again

Over a decade ago California Governor Gavin Newsom appeared on the Adam Carolla podcast, in which the latter was completely destroyed over the course of an hour on a whole host of political issues.

Simply pressing Newsom in specifics and details was all it took for Carolla to expose how flimsy and cartoonish his ideas are. The episode went viral as soon as it aired, and various clips of their exchange have routinely gone viral every couple of months since.

The two finally crossed paths once again on the air last week on the NewsNation network, with Newsom coming on air prepared to talk about the Trump-Biden debate. Instead, he faced another grilling from Carolla.

“Governor, why did you shut the beaches in California during COVID?” Carolla opened with. 

“Yeah, I think we all were working on information at the time, we had no basis for deeply understanding the virus - I think…”

Carolla then cut him off to fire back; “so you didn’t know anything? So why shut the beaches?”

And it only gets better from there.
