Scott Jennings Schools CNN on Democrat Gerrymandering

Gerrymandering is one of those things that the left has both perfected - and wants to pretend that only the right takes part in.
A number of states will soon be redrawing congressional maps, including Texas and Ohio. Trump has boasted that redistricting in Texas could give Republicans an extra five seats. There are also outstanding lawsuits challenging the current maps of Georgia, Louisiana, and Arkansas. California Governor Gavin Newsom, meanwhile, recently indicated heâs considering redrawing their map to send even more Democrats to DC in response to Trumpâs comments on Texas.
This was the subject of debate on CNNâs NewsNight, leading to pundit Scott Jennings once again delivering a much needed reality check.
âRepublicans believe ahead of the midterms that they need an upper hand so badly that they need to redraw entire statesâ congressional maps to get five whole seats out of it,â host Abby Phillips said, mockingly.
Jennings immediately fired back "Well, probably the same thing that it signifies when they did it in Illinois and got a 14-3 delegation for D's. Maryland, 7-1. Massachusetts 9-0. We know what happened here in New York."
Phillips then tried to argue that those cases arenât significant because they didnât all happen during midterm cycles⌠while admitting that she didnât do any research on the topic.
