Stephen Miller Schools Liberal Reporters on Basic Immigration Law

Stephen Miller was met with crickets when he asked the media to their faces if they had any idea what they were even talking about. 

“Do you know the difference between a deportation order and a holding order?” Miller asked reporters.

He was met with complete silence - and you could practically feel reporters praying that at least one person would know the answer so they wouldn’t all look like complete dunces. 

One reporter eventually responded, “Well, we’re not in the government.”

“So you couldn’t even spend 72 hours over the weekend learning the distinction even though you’ve been writing and talking about it this whole time?” Miller fired back.

“What I’m getting from this conversation, which is educational for me, is that not one person in the media knows the difference between a deportation order and a holding order. Is that a fair statement? You’re learning about all of this for the first time right now?” he asked. “I guess so.”
