Trump: 275,000 Illegals Have Been Kicked Off Social Security

It turns out that yet another thing the left assured us wasnât happening, illegal aliens receiving Social Security, has in fact been happening.
Yesterday marked the 90th anniversary of the Social Security program being signed into law.
When Social Security was created the retirement age for full benefits was the same 65 it is today, but the average life expectancy at birth was only 61.7 years (though much higher infant mortality rates back then are depressing this figure).
Social Security's retirement trust fund will be insolvent in just seven years, at which point benefits will be cut automatically by 24 percent for everyone.
Amid differing proposals on how to keep the program solvent, one way to save money is so obvious that only a Democrat could have a problem with it: kicking off illegal aliens.
Trump spoke at the Oval Office to mark the 90th anniversary, where he revealed âWe've already kicked nearly 275,000 illegal aliens off of the Social Security system,â Trump said. âMany of them have already left the country, and yet we were sending them checks all the time.â
âWe cleared 12.4 million names listed in the Social Security database over 120 years of age. Think of that. So, we had 12.4 million names where they were over 120 years old. Is that right? That's a hell of a statement...There were nearly 135,000 people listed who were over 160 years old and in some cases, getting payments. So, somebody's getting those payments, and we're after that.â
Assuming an average monthly benefit per illegal of $2002, and life expectancy at 65 of 19.7 years (the national average), each illegal costs taxpayers just over $437k over that nearly 20 year period. Or in other words, removing the 275,000 illegals from social security saves over $130 billion over about 20 years.
Of those removed with unrealistic ages, itâs not possible to know how much this move saved taxpayers without knowing the fraudulent recipientsâ real ages.
