Trump Rips “Gutless Losers” on CNN to Their Faces

Donald Trump blasted “fake news” outlets while taking questions about Israel’s “12 day” war with Iran. 

He put CNN and MSNBC on blast specifically for downplaying the success of the strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, which caused the nation to fold and accept a ceasefire.   “You're gutless losers. I say that to CNN because I watch it. I have no choice. I've gotta watch that garbage. It's all garbage. It's all fake news. But I think CNN is a gutless group of people."

Last night, during a panel discussion on CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip, longtime Barack Obama aide Johanna Maska attempted to argue that Trump should share his success in Iran with past presidents. 

While pondering whether it was too early to take a victory lap, Scott Jennings, the network’s resident sane pundit, chimed in “No. I‘ll be glad to take one. What he did was a courageous move. Today is a great day for America. It‘s a great day for Western civilization.”

Maska interjected by arguing that prior administrations talking about doing something about Iran was equivalent to Trump actually doing something. “Scott, my problem is the Trump Administration is taking a victory lap as if they‘re the only ones who planned this. And I understand he took the action, but this action was planned by the military for multiple administrations.”

Jennings fired back; “So, occasionally, occasionally, the correct answer is, ‘Good job, President Trump. Well done.’ Occasionally, that‘s the right answer.”
