President Trump blasted Democrats for holding a hearing with convicted liar and former attorney Michael Cohen during last week’s North Korean nuclear summit.
On Twitter last night, the President wrote, “For the Democrats to interview in open hearings a convicted liar & fraudster, at the same time as the very important Nuclear Summit with North Korea, is perhaps a new low in American politics and may have contributed to the “walk.” Never done when a president is overseas. Shame!”

Last week, Senator Lindsey Graham rebuked Democrats for the timing of their hearing, claiming they were “undercutting” U.S. foreign policy efforts.
“A new low for House Democrats: holding hearings with Michael Cohen while President Trump negotiates with North Korea about giving up their nuclear arsenal,” Graham said in a statement on Twitter.
“Democrats’ hatred of Trump is undercutting an important foreign policy effort and is way out of line. If Republicans had pulled such a stunt, the mainstream media would be outraged!”
