Trump to Sign Executive Order Requiring List of Sanctuary Cities and States

Every sanctuary city is going to soon have no choice but to reveal themselves. 

Later today, President Donald Trump will be signing an executive order directing the attorney general and DHS Secretary to identify all cities and states not complying with federal immigration laws within a month.

According to the WSJ, which first reported the news, the executive action will follow a federal judge’s ruling on April 24, which blocked the Trump administration from withholding federal funding from over a dozen sanctuary jurisdictions, citing constitutional concerns. That judge,  U.S. District Judge William Orrick in San Francisco, was appointed by Barack Obama.

The WSJ's report early this morning followed by an early press briefing with White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and Border Czar Tom Homan.

Ahead of the early morning briefing, Leavitt shared a photo of the White House lawn filled with mugshot-style posters of arrested illegal aliens. They're located directly behind the positions where TV correspondents do their hits from the White House lawn.

Trump's schedule calls for him to sign executive orders at 5 PM EST.
