CNN Now Pushing App to Warn Illegals About ICE
The perpetually shrinking network CNN is now devoting time towards promoting apps aimed at preventing law enforcement from deporting criminal illegal aliens.
The network devoted airtime to promoting an app called âICEBlock,â which its creator says is to alert people nearby to sightings of ICE agents in their area.
The app currently only has 20,000 users, many of which are in Los Angeles.
Itâs unknown exactly how many illegal aliens are in the U.S., but a study from Yale in 2018 estimated it at over 22 million, and at least 7.2 million illegals entered the U.S. under the Biden administration. Itâs entirely possible that roughly one tenth of the entire U.S. population now consists of illegal aliens.
On the app, which is in English, users can add a pin on a map showing where they spotted ICE agents within a 5 mile radius, and add notes about what officers were wearing or what kind of car they were driving. Other users within that five-mile radius then receive a push notification.
The appâs creator seems well aware of the fact that heâs playing with fire legally, and added a disclaimer that the app is for âinformation and notification purposes only,â and is not to be used for the purpose of âinterfering with law enforcement,â - as if that isnât the exact reason he created the app. If there were to be a criminal investigation launched as a result of this app, its user data would ironically be of immense value to ICE.
On the bright side, the segment at least didnât get the app too much exposure considering it aired on CNN.
