Walz Bizarrely Brags About Not Knowing What a Venture Capitalist Does

Months after bizarrely bragging at a rally that none of his students even went to J.D. Vance’s alma mater, Yale University, he’s at it again.

Back in August, Walz told a crowd while trying to play into his “small-town roots”:“I had 24 kids in my high school class and none of them went to Yale.” For many, the comment represented the first time they heard a teacher brag about their lack of accomplishment. 

This time Walz decided to attack Vance over his prior career as a venture capitalist - by bragging to an audience that he’s so down to Earth that he doesn’t even know what a venture capitalist is!

“And Senator Vance, he became a media darling. He wrote a book about the place he grew up, but the premise was trashing that place where he grew up rather than lifting it up. This guy’s a venture capitalist cosplaying like he’s a cowboy or something. I don’t even know what a venture capitalist does most of the time.”
