The trailer for Clint Eastwood’s new “fact-based” drama, “Richard Jewell” has been released today. Although the movie takes place in 1996, there appear to be parallels that still hold true today which Eastwood brings light to. In particular, “Eastwood points a stern finger at FBI investigators and the media.” Sound familiar?
The movie explores the fascinating case of a man, Richard Jewell, who was a security guard and “found a bomb at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics- and then was falsely accused of planting it himself.”
