West Virginia Gov: We’ll Welcome Maryland GOP Counties That Want to Secede

Not wanting to be part of liberal Maryland, levigators have proposed having three Republican counties in the state have secede and join West Virginia, arguing that it would be better for everyone involved.

The three counties in question, Garrett County, Allegany County, and Washington County, voted heavily for Trump (77%, 68.5%, and 59%, respectively), while the state has Democrat supermajorities in both its House and Senate, and a Republican governor who might as well be a Democrat.

While Maryland’s leadership is unlikely to express the same sort of enthusiasm, West Virginia’s Governor Jim Justice has said he’d welcome those counties into his state with open arms.
