UK Supreme Court: Transgender “Women” Are NOT Women

While their legal system has been making headlines as of late for jailing people of memes and social media posts, it’s at least been able to answer the “what is a woman” question - a question that has been like kryptonite to the modern liberal brain.
The United Kingdom has been among the Western nations that has gone the craziest on the trans debate.
Even when some progress appears to be made, something counterbalances it. England’s National Health Service has recently stopped prescribing puberty blockers to "trans youth,” a sign of progress - yet a Christian nurse is currently facing losing her career after being investigated by an NHS Trust for refusing to refer to a male child sex offender patient as a “woman.”
Who knows what craziness will happen next, but in the meantime, a major win for reality occurred earlier today with their highest ruling that trans women are not women.
As the National Pulse reports:
The UK Supreme Court has unanimously determined that within the scope of equalities law, the term “woman” is defined by biological sex. This resolution finalizes a lengthy legal confrontation, which holds potential implications for how sex-based rights are enforced throughout Scotland, England, and Wales. The decision favored the advocacy group ‘For Women Scotland,’ which contested the far left Scottish government’s position that sex-based safeguards should extend to individuals with a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC), i.e. “trans-women.”
The fact that the term “biological sex” even has to be used for the purpose of clarification is itself a reminder of how insane things have gotten. Never before has the use of such a pointlessly redundant term been necessary.
The crux of the legal debate was the proper interpretation of the 2010 Equality Act, a piece of legislation applied across Britain. Lord Hodge clarified that the central issue was the legislative definition of the terms “woman” and “sex.” According to the court, these terms are predicated on biological distinctions.
In 2023, Nicola Sturgeon, the former leader of the left-wing Scottish National Party and Minister of Scotland, resigned and later cited the historic amount of abuse she’d received over plans for trying to make it easier for people to legally change their gender.
